THE PADDOCKS TOURING PARK IS A DOG FRIENDLY SITE

As animal lovers, we are proud to ensure that The Paddocks Touring Park at Ingliston Estate is a fantastic, dog friendly space for our four-legged guests.

This extends to our local area in Bishopton, Renfrewshire and beyond – where there are many dog friendly attractions and activities to be enjoyed by both dogs and owners alike! Many scenic walking routes can be reached by foot, however for those looking to cover less distance, car parking is available at most public parks and estates.

Local walks include the spectacular Boden Boo and Erskine Beach, which takes you under the Erskine Bridge and affords fantastic views across the Clyde Estuary to Dumbarton. Finlaystone Country Estate welcomes the whole family, and offers a number of woodland walks and play areas – to note dogs must be kept on a leash within the grounds. Pups looking to run free in a secure space love the freedom of Run Free Dog Fields, with locations in Bishopton and Houston.

Spots such as the Glennifer Braes in Renfrewshire, and Kilpatrick Hills, and Overtoun Estate just across the river in West Dunbartonshire, provide the perfect place for outdoor recreation.

Traveling with a fussy eater, or looking for hard-to-find treats or tuff toys? Dargavel Pet Store will have you covered – and are also home to Snoop Around Indoor Dog Park, for days where wet-weather walkies are not on the cards.

As with Ingliston Estate, and our delightful Al-Fresco dining area at Palomino’s restaurant, options for food, drink, coffee and cakes in dog-friendly locations are wide and varied within our local area, and very worthwhile exploring.
